TclRAL: A Relational Algebra Library for Tcl

Abstract
TclRAL is a "C" language based extension to Tcl that pro-
vides commands to implement a formal relational algebra.
This paper introduces TclRAL and describes the goals and
background of the extension. Each command is described in
detail and examples of a relational style of programming are
given to help explain the operations that the extension pro-
vides. A comparison with other approaches is also provided.
